Moon 3 Page 1 Pencils…. Evil Wears a Furry Face

Moon 3.1.1

So, it’s that time again. The third instalment of Moon is beginning to hove into view. With it is the introduction of a very special kind of evil. Revealed briefly in Moon 2, BunBun Warmheart is a villain that had everything going for him. Now his crimes against humanity mean not even his cute little face can get him off. Our hero, Moon and Shades will be facing this little bleeder directly. What will they find out? What will they glean from this little furry bastard?

This is very much the start of the first story arc for Moon. The introduction is over – now it’s all about the investigation! Moon and his new partner, Shades Rodriguez are about to start dog paddling in dangerous waters, and there be sharks there. Heavily armed, laser guided, furry faced sharks that want to bite their legs off. With guns. And things. Threats will come from directions you’d never expect. You have been warned.

Evil is back. And it’s sitting on a raised chair in an interrogation room at the heart of the Agency.

DAH-DAH-DAAAAAAAAAH!

Moon: Seven II

Just a few more sketch works of Moon’s first nemesis. Agent Seven wants nothing more than money to fulfill his job. That, and to cave in Moon’s stone head with a giant club hammer. The combination of the two proves irresistable when the contract on Moon is up for dibs. As for what happened to Agents 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Who knows. Seven remains the lowest number among the Bingo Mole ranks. Are they really called Bingo Moles? No. No, they’re not. We’ll call them soldiers. How’s that?

Jonathan Ross gets a movie offer without writing the book!!

Horse faced television presenter Jonathan Ross has grabbed an accolade formerly only the most seasoned or lucky comic creatives enjoy. A stone cold offer to make his material into a film from one of the most powerful directors in Hollywood.

According to movie source website Deadline, Matthew Vaughn, Director of Kick Ass and currently putting the finishing touches on Marvel Cuban Missile Crisis and Professor X and Magneto Biopic X-Men: First Class is interested in a third super-hero film ‘The Golden Age.’

The comic book tells the tale of retired superheroes who are forced to don their costumes and help their grandchildren after their middle-aged parents “screw up the world”.

And Vaughn is certainly thinking massive when it comes to his cast for the film. His wish-list includes Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty – which frankly make it incredible to watch.

Vaughn said, “You have these great star names and they’re mainly playing supporting roles now. I want to give them the lead again and let them have some fun.”

Still it’s no massive surprise that the J Ross (television celebrity) has managed to skip the queue with his follow up to ‘Turf’ on this one as Vaughn’s regular writing partner is Jane Goldman, Jonathan’s wife. So it’s not what you know but… hey, we already knew that…
