Moon 2: Big Things are Happening

Watch the immediate space around your planet. The orbiting satelite is beginning to stir again after a long ol’ time in the icy cold. His partner in danger, a rebel traffic warden on the loose, gun toting mercenaries wrecking diners and a mysterious power that speaks with strange speech bubbles in the background of it all.

Who killed Councillor Hugh Griffiths? Only Moon can find out in the upcoming Moon 2…

Moon has been away too long and you will find that the updates here are going to decidedly more intense and significantly more original as the return of Moon becomes an certainty.

For all of those who have waited patiently and to those who have just discovered him – Moon is on his way back to see us and we can promise that the result is going to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen in British comic books (while still remaining vaguely familiar).

The Moon is among us. Watch out for his big Moony head.

Unfortunately whether or not we will hit London Film and Comicon is still in doubt however we are making sure that the best comic that we can put together is on it’s way. So keep your eyes on this space for more updates and goodies regarding our resident defender of Albion (nay, the world!!)

Moon goes Luna! Harry Potter Star backs Moon 2!

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Steve Penfold with a copy of Moon

Over at the Entertainment Media Show at Earls Court last weekend, featuring many of the great and good (and the guy who plays Young Indy) and we thought we’d introduce our latest book to some of the folks signing at the event. Luckily, with me was my lovely girlfriend Laura who accosted Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch (who is also from Drogheda, Ireland) for a quick snap to show her support for the book. Thanks to Evanna and thanks to Laura for sparking up the conversation with her.

Dan had been introduced to John Hurt the day before but got a little overwhelmed and forgot to get a photo but Mr. Hurt has also earned himself a copy of Moon. Another great memory alongside working with the likes of Ridley Scott, Ron Perlman and Guilermmo Del Toro. Now Hurt can finally say he’s made it!!

Moon Heads to London Film & Comic Con This July

Not content with rocking out LCSPE, Kapow, Bristol Comic Con & MCM, we decided to go ahead and book in another summer appearance. This July, Beyond The Bunker will be heading to Earls Court for 3 days of Film & Comic madness. The globe headed one will be mixing it up with the likes of Christoper Lloyd & Clive Barker as well as furnishing you with all sorts of big Mooney goodies.

Want signed Moon stuff? Seek out this stand!

LFCC really is a lot of fun to go to. It has a very different feel to Kapow or MCM with more traders, WAY more tv and movie stars and ticket prices that won’t murder your wallet. It will also be our last con appearance of the summer so if you want a signed Moon comic to enjoy in the sunshine then this is your last chance.

When? – 8th, 9th 10th July
Where? – Earls Court 2, London
Why? – Because you’re on a drug called Moon.

Check out the LFCC website for a full list of guests and to book tickets.
